Jillian Bookout-Bilawchuk

Jillian's Design Elements is celebrating four years in business and is pleased to announce the opening of their new location just a few blocks up at 621 Main St N. The new home of Jillian's Design Elements was originally home to the once highly acclaimed Artistique hair school and beauty salon. The building was constructed in the 1950's and boasted architectural flair with its rounded exterior facade. Over the years the building began to deteriorate and it was in dire need of a facelift. The renovation process took five long and exhausting months, but thanks to the tremendous amount of help from family and friends it is finally done and Jillian and staff are loving the new space. The transformation is astounding taking the tired, old and decrepit building to a work of art with reclaimed solid wood doors, contemporary styled glass stair case and breath taking views.

We would like to thank all of our customers as well as the Moose Jaw community for their overwhelming support over the past four years! Jillian's Design Elements has had the honour of being nominated for three MJBEX awards and awarded the title of Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the 2008 Moose Jaw Business Excellence Awards. Jillian's Design Elements was also nominated for an ABEX award and was a finalist for Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the province of Saskatchewan. It is an incredible honour to be recognized for such a prestigious award and it shows the hard work and dedication of our staff and family. We look forward to the journey ahead as we begin our fourth year of business.
